Privacy policy

What I collect

If you fill out the contact form, I get what you typed: your name, business name, phone, email, trade, county, your current website address if you gave one, and your message. That's it. I use it to reply to you and, if you hire me, to do the work.

The form is handled by Netlify, which hosts this site. Netlify stores the submission and emails it to me. Like any web host, Netlify keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address and the pages you requested.

Analytics

I use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site: which pages get read, where visitors come from, and where they get stuck. These tools set cookies and record page views, taps, and scrolling. Clarity can record how a page was used, with typed text masked. I look at this in aggregate to make the site better. I don't sell it or share it beyond those two services.

If you don't want that, most browsers let you block third-party cookies, and Google offers a browser add-on that turns Analytics off.

What I don't do

• I don't sell your information to anyone.
• I don't run ads on this site or share your details with advertisers.
• I don't send newsletters unless you ask for one.
